Hey, I'm Emily!

I attended James Madison University, where I graduated with a BFA in Architectural Design with an Art History Minor.

​

The past two years, I have served as a Graphic Designer, Learning Developer and Project Manager at Vivayic Inc. where I designed and developed visual learner-centered concepts, breathing life into built learning experiences. 

Professionally, I enjoy creating and witnessing the evolution of words and ideas as they unfold into a compelling visual composition. I thrive when faced with challenges of learning new skills, programs or solving problems, which ultimately grows and shapes me into a better designer. I believe creativity happens at intersections, intersections where experiences, mindsets, and concepts clash together. Outside work, I love to retreat to the water on the Rappahannock River, and stay active by playing slow-pitch softball and golf. I also enjoy cheering on the JMU Dukes.
