My senior thesis is an excavation and exploration of an abandoned flour mill. Through drawing, material investigation, collecting, and archiving, this project attempts to reassemble and reorganize the pieces of the mill’s ruined past. It proposes the construction of a transformative archive, whereby disconnected fragments are reconstituted into a landscape of projective architectural futures. A “place” which encodes new visions for re-inhabiting the mill, exposing the past to the light of the present and springing old ruins back to life.
